Hand Hammered Cantonese Wok
Product description
The perfect shape in cold forged carbon steel. Cantonese woks have two loop handles. 18″, 20″, 22″ and 24″ woks have welded handles. Other sizes have riveted handles.
12″-18″ woks are 1.25 mm thick
20″-22″ woks are 1.5 mm thick
24″-30″ woks are 2 mm thick
Woks must be cleaned and seasoned prior to use. Proper seasoning will create a non-stick coating and prevent the wok from rusting.
Sizing tips
- General rule of thumb is to use a wok sized 2”-4” larger than the nominal chamber size. The exceptions are for the smallest and largest chambers which vary more.
- Order a wok cover 2″-6″ smaller in diameter than the wok size.
